St Thomas' Active Challenge
St Thomas' Active Challenge is an initiative to encourage children to participate in extra-curricular activities. The pupils are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of competitive challenges, learning new skills whilst encountering sports or pastimes that they may not have experienced before. There is a new challenge every few weeks, with the only requirement being that the children bring along their Childrens' University passport so they can be rewarded for their participation. Every pupil taking part in a challenge will earn points (see below for the scoring system), with the 3 pupils with the highest cumulative score at the end of the year winning prizes. There will also be raffle prizes at the end of the year, with children earning a raffle ticket every time they enter a challenge.
The first challenge is indoor golf putting, and over 140 pupils have registered to take part!
